Dirk Benedict is known to millions of viewers as “Face” on THE A TEAM and “Starbuck” of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

He has also starred on Broadway, in Films and even dabbled in Reality TV with an appearance in Celebrity Big Brother.

He is a native of a small ranch town in the state of Montana, so remote that there was no movie theatre or television during his childhood. He attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Upon graduation, with a degree in Music, he decided to pursue acting and began a two-year acting program under the tutelage of John Fernald, who had been Principal of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.

He has written two Autobiographies: “Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy”; “And Then We Went Fishing”; several Stage Plays and made his directorial debut directing his original screenplay “Cahoots”, starring Keith Carradine and David Keith.

A man with a wide variety of interests, he has travelled extensively throughout the world, is an expert fly fisherman, a private pilot, composer and plays a mean piano.

A Single Dad, he lives in his native Montana with his two sons, George and Roland.

They do the cooking, he does the washing up.
